EPOC are transforming the Boards of UK institutions.

EPOC (Empowering People of Colour) exists to change the makeup of leadership at the top of all UK institutions.

By connecting successful leaders of colour with Board-level non-executive opportunities, we facilitate mutually beneficial appointments.

As part of our peer-to-peer network, members recieve support and share opportunities that may not have been previously accessible, and Boards are introduced to high calibre, talented  individuals who provide new and diverse ways of thinking.

Why

we exist

Across all UK institutions, the truth remains that at Board level, there's still a failure to accurately reflect the society they serve and in which we all live.

The issue is not with the availability of experienced and capable people of colour, but with the lack of familiarity Boards and many search firms have with this group of potential future Board members. The talent exists and organisations know that in today's world, diverse perspectives at Board level will help achieve success in the world of tomorrow. It's just a case of connecting the right people, to the right organisations, to make the right change happen.

As a not-for-profit organisation, our members don't have to pay to access the opportunities and networking events EPOC can provide for them.
